The Quality Inn Perry receives mixed reviews, with significant concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. While some guests appreciate the convenient location and breakfast, numerous reports highlight issues with pests, unsanitary conditions, and unresponsive staff.
It's a nice room but the air wasn't very cold and the pull out bed i had to get clean sheets and blanket from the front desk... The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful...
This location is in fact in a great location, next to gas stations and plenty of restaurants however... Did a walk-in 04/03/26 around 6pm. (Room 136). It wasn't the nicest room i was ever in but certainly not the worst; so I thought. Woke up around 2am and noticed a cockroach on the wall went to the bathroom to get toilet paper to kill it and there was another one, on its back on the bathroom floor. I then pulled out my black light and did a test, fluids everywhere, blood on the wall and the microwave and fridge were deplorable disgusting. Absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! So, after driving 11 hours and still making my venture to Ohio, I'm up at 4am because I had to change rooms. Mind you aside from driving for that long, I did so with two pups and we are all morbidly exhausted. Perry Georgia Quality Inn...DO BETTER.
I never leave bad reviews- but this was the Worst hotel stay experience we’ve ever had. First when we got the employee at a he counter was rude and felt like she needed to correct everything we said. Then said what we booked wasn’t what she had. We asked if we could see the room- she had us sign and gave us the room key. We walked it and the smell of mold/musky and smoke was heavy. When we went back we asked about a refund. She said we’d have to contact who we booked with- which we did but because we signed for it the hotel refused the refund. I was like the paper you had us sign to get the key to see the room. At this point I was irritated but my kids were troops and were like it’s okay mom. The lady said there was another room but she’d have to clean it and she was the only one there. We had already been in the car over 14 hours and my kids were like it’s okay mom and no idea how long it would take for the other room to clean. We got back to the room and couldn’t use the bed on the couch as it was broken. So my kids pulled of the mattress and had to use it on the floor. We left the door open for a while to help with the smell and the ac on high ALL night. The room was a decent size so that was good. But the customer service was Horrible and the room was the worst. Definitely will NEVER stay here again. Spider webs all on the ceiling. Seems like same cleaning materials used on everything as there was toothpaste randomly everywhere. My daughter is small and this was here simply sitting on the bed. Her face all night by the way bc of the smell. Just don’t do it. Trust me spend a little extra for a different place
Convenient to everything in area. Rooms could have been a little better cleaned but all and all what you expect from a Quality Inn. Solid continental breakfast and friendly staff.
Good: nice pool and hot tub-jets don’t work, but it’s hot (and towels). Full breakfast. Lots of TV channels. Chick-fil-a and Popeye’s next door. Nice evening receptionist. Cracker Barrel 5 minutes down the highway. Both Chick & Cracker sell breakfast. Bad: strong urine smell and yellow running off the cloth shower curtain when I turned on the shower. Thick spider cob webs in the corners where the hangers are to hang up your clothes to let the wrinkles fall out overnight. Breakfast too gross to eat. Even the single size yogurt hadn’t been properly refrigerated, it wasn’t expired, but obviously bad when opened. It wasn’t immediately refrigerated when transported from the store to their refrigerator. Really bad: we left at 8:30 AM to take a rental car back. We came back at 9:15 AM and our door cards didn’t work, all our luggage was still in the room and check out isn’t until 11 AM. An Indian man let us back in who was cleaning rooms. We then tried at get back in at 10 AM before we hit the road, and we were still locked out. We paid for the room until 11 AM. I usually leave the room keys on the table in the room, so I don’t have to wait in line 20 minutes again (like last night) to return the keys. Since we couldn’t get back in the room, we couldn’t conveniently leave the card keys.
Why did we stay here? The first room heater /ac unit was banging so loud we couldn’t sleep. We asked and received another room. The room is in need of updating. The breakfast was not edible. No coffee, waterlogged sausage and pre formed egg patties. Very dirty waffle makers. Brown OJ. No maintenance from breakfast staff who were busy on their phone and rushing to go out the door by 8:00 on the dot. Garbage overflowing. Etc.
Out first assigned room was already occupied by someone else who happened to be using the bathroom when we went into the room. Unbelievable. The breakfast was inedible, very poor quality items and mostly garbage junk food. Nothing nutritional wxcept the yogurt. The oj was brown and sour. No pb or jam for the english muffin. The bed was ok. The bathroom was old and stained and musty Overall, pretty gross.
This place was terrible! I booked a room here for my wife and kids. They could not stay there because the rooms were so nasty! The first room they were given was covered with mold, the beds the floors everything was covered in mold! So they tried a second room, the beds were stained and nasty and the a/c did not work. There were no other hotels with available rooms so they tried a third room. This room had roaches everywhere! So they ended up just canceling the reservation. It was a nonrefundable reservation but they knew the rooms were that nasty so they canceled it and did not charge me!
The staff at the front desk were very rude. The rooms were filthy. Spider webs all over and dust covered the furniture . Beer bottles left to sit on the walkways. Lighters laying on steps. You walked past rooms and all you smell is Marijuana and through the vents on your bathroom. There was dried bodily fluid on the door frame of the bathroom as well. If it were just me and my friend traveling I wouldn't have cared. But we were in Georgia for the Youth and Teen World Championship. Never again will we stay at this hotel nor will we give the recommendation of this hotel to any of the other parents that are looking for a hotel during the championships.
